Your home deserves more than a standard door

You have invested in a beautiful home, and its entrance plays a defining role. Standard, off-the-shelf doors often lack the quality and character such homes deserve, weathering poorly over time and failing to complement the property’s architecture.

At Old English Doors, we offer a considered alternative. Our bespoke timber doors are handcrafted for homeowners who value enduring quality and traditional craftsmanship. We offer an infinite range of designs – anything you can dream of, we will work together to bring it to life! Before any work begins, you will see exactly how your door will look – designed, made and fitted by one expert team.

A smooth experience from start to finish

From your initial enquiry, you will speak directly to the people responsible for your door. At Old English Doors, there is no sales team, no middlemen. We offer clear advice, thoughtful design and a consistent point of contact throughout.
Whether you are restoring a period property or seeking a lasting upgrade for your entranceway, we take the time to understand you and your home. The result is a door that brings presence and distinction to your home, with precise proportions and craftsmanship designed to endure.

What we offer

Bespoke Timber Entrance Doors

Each door is made to order using traditional joinery methods, premium hardwoods and hand-applied finishes. Designs are tailored to suit the character of your home, with options for stained glass, period detailing and high-quality ironmongery – all built to last a lifetime.

Stained Glass Design & Restoration

All of our stained glass is made or restored in-house by our own skilled specialists. Whether you are preserving original features or creating something entirely new, we will guide you through the process and provide clear visual representations before work begins.

Timber Windows & Joinery

We also manufacture high-quality timber windows and associated joinery, produced to the same high standards as our doors. Designed to suit period homes or character builds, they combine timeless appearance with modern performance.

Design, Manufacture & Installation – All In-House

Every stage of your project is carried out by our team, from detailed CAD drawings through to final installation. By keeping the entire process in-house at our Nottingham workshop, we maintain full quality control and ensure clear communication and consistency throughout.
